So here is the story of Haven's Place. Dustin has always needed to reign me in a little when it comes to my "projects". I had just discovered chalk board paint, and I really wanted to paint a wall in my little boys room....well Dustin said that might be a little extreme (looking back it may have been). So I was left to find an outlet for my chalk board painting dreams. So that's when I got the idea that I should find a little kids table and use it instead of an entire wall.
Well that was that until Dustin informed me one day that he had created an Etsy account and listed my table. I told him, " hmmmmmm, it won't sell, but good luck". I was wrong, we made our first sale that same day. It was awesome, and reassuring.
I love being able to create new items and see what does well.....and what doesn't! I also love being able to work as a team with my husband. We take pride in what we do. We have spent many hours finding the best quality items to ensure that what you purchase will last. We use the best paint, vinyl, ribbon, wood, and much more because that's what we would expect.
Etsy has given us the opportunity to have our business out of our home, and have it seen in ways it never could have otherwise. We love the interaction we get to have with our customers. We love being able to work with our clients to make custom items.
